Shared meetings between Palestinian and Ultra-Orthodox women of the leadership and media training program at the Sam Spiegel Cinema. Participants brought their mothers, daughters and friends. Films by ultra-Orthodox and Palestinian female directors on issues related to femininity were screened, and a discussion panel with the directors was held afterwards sparking fascinating dialogue between the women.

 

Many of our participants had never met a woman from another community, and for others, it was their first time in a cinema.
