Pride Flags in Jerusalem

“Finally! We see the pride flag flying in Jerusalem!

No, there aren’t 400 flags like Tel Aviv or 300 like Haifa. It’s also crazy how many people had to act and be involved to get the flags up. But we did not give up and won’t give up. It’s a matter of principle.

And for those wondering, no, it’s not just for the LGBTQ community. There are many people in the city who suffer from discrimination and prejudice. The LGBTQ community has become a symbol that demands equality for everyone, no matter who they are, where they are from, or what family they were born in to – everyone should be accepted and respected.

I’m pro pride
