Green Net Jerusalem- the biggest and leading garbage sorting facility in Israel!
This morning I went on a tour with the minister for environmental protection, Gila Gamliel, at the garbage sorting facility in Jerusalem-Green Net.
Jerusalem is the leading city in Israel in terms of recycling due to the 100 million shekel establishment of Green Net in 2015. The facility sorts through 2000 tons of garbage daily.
The garbage that is collected from neighborhoods throughout the city arrives at the facility in Atarot where it is automatically sorted by a highly advanced computerized system.
