Jerusalem Mourns Ruth Gavison

“We mourn the passing of Ruth Gavison.
Ruth Gavison was a laureate of the Yakir Yerushalayim prize [1] and the Israel Prize [2], a brilliant jurist and a symbol of the Law Faculty at Hebrew University. She taught many generations of students who are part of all layers of Israeli society.

Her wise and clear voice and the respectful discourse she led in her struggle for connections and unity between Israel’s sectors will be missed. May her memory be a blessing. ”
