How A Chassidic Community Prays During Corona

"This is how the Karlin [1] pray during Corona

In the Karlin Chassidut community, where they strictly follow the Corona guidelines of the Ministry of Health, prayers are prayed outside the study hall, in the open air, while maintaining distance and wearing masks.

In the study hall plaza on Avinoam Yellin Street in Jerusalem, small minyanim [prayer quorums] are held from the early hours of the morning, with the cantor standing in the center of the courtyard with a partition separating the people being called to the Torah and the reader."

In the 1950s, the group was divided into two courts. The larger one is called Karlin-Stolin, and the other is now called Pinsk-Karlin. Their main study hall is located in the Bukharan neighborhood of Jerusalem. One of the salient features of Karlins group is prayer, which is accompanied by shouting.
