"All Public Pay Phones Will be Removed: 'They hurt the souls of young children'

As a result of the exposee by Kikar HaShabbat, Mayor of Jerusalem Moshe Lion has decided to remove all public phones throughout the city, which were revealed to be used to sexually abuse children.

In a meeting between Lion and Bezeq [1] CEO Dudu Mizrahi, the two decided that all public pay phones would be removed immediately.

'Throughout the city there are 360 and payphones left, and in the coming days the municipality will begin removing them from the public space', it was reported.

As you may recall, it was revealed by Kikar HaShabbat that dubious individuals take advantage of these phones to have random conversations with innocent Haredi children walking in the street.
'This is a threat to the children's souls', parents described in a conversation with Kikar HaShabbat.
