Call for Public’s Help to Update Jerusalem’s Religious Services Information Website
“Are you familiar with Jerusalem’s churches and mosques?? Tell us about them in the comments and together we will correct an injustice.
The municipality’s website has a list of religious sites in the city – this is a welcome and important thing. However, the list only includes Jewish religious institutions (and only Orthodox ones…) and ignores the churches and mosques in the city.
So what’s the cause of this problem? We have been told that there is no objection to displaying such a list on the site, it simply does not exist. The municipality does not have the information … So let’s help!
Tell us about mosques and churches you know about in the comments section or send us an email: [email protected] Include their address and which specific religious stream they belong to.
Together we can make religious institutions accessible to all communities living in the city, encourage tourism from all types of people, and honor the city’s diversity.
