Activist Launches Campaign to Support Local Business
"#Our_Livelihood – Support Local Businesses
The government grant that we’ll receive in the coming days, we will spend on small, local businesses, those that really need it.
Buy a cake at the neighborhood cafe, go to a hairdresser, beautician, stationery store, or send a bouquet from the local florist. If you do not need anything now – buy a voucher.
Owners of closed businesses have to lay off workers, and sometimes sink into debt, when really they just need to be given a hand to get through this difficult period.
It is absurd, but the grant that businesses received from the state is smaller than the grant that many of us are receiving, even if we do not really need it. So let's do what the government has failed to do, and help those who really need help.
That's why we created the campaign #our_livelihood
What do you need to do?
Buy at a local business – take a photo and upload it to the social media with the hashtag, #our_livelihood, and upload it to the group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/4215665535172198/
We can change reality for hundreds of thousands of families, let's just do it."
