[1] The Tawjihi exams are the Palestinian equivalent of the Israeli matriculation tests at the completion of high school. On Saturday, July 11th, the results of the Tawjihi tests were published.
[2] Wisam al-Abbasi was a member of the "Silwan Unit" that was responsible for a series of terrorist attacks, including the attack at the Moment's Café in Jerusalem, the attack at the cafeteria at the Mount Scopus campus of the Hebrew University, and the attack on the "Sheffield" club in Rishon Lezion. The members of the unit were sentenced in 2012 to life in prison.
