0202 Editor's Note:
[1] Lilat Al Qadr is a blessed night on one of the last nights of Ramadan, usually the 27th night of Ramadan. According to tradition, this is the night when the first chapters of the Qur'an were given to Muhammad by the angel Jibril. On that day, the heavenly gates open for believers' prayers, and therefore prayer at this time is considered to be of great virtue. Every year, hundreds of thousands of Muslims visit Al-Aqsa on the Lilat Al Qadr, stay in the complex and mosque all night and devote themselves to prayer.
