Commentary on Agudat Yisrael Not Joining Moshe Leon's Coalition in the Municipality [1]

"The only way for Agudat Yisrael to rise from the ground is to remain in the opposition and fight from the outside for its dignity and the restoration of its status. When thousands of Hasidic Jerusalemites who were absent from the polls will feel the pain of exclusion for five years – there's a chance that the party will return to its place in the next elections.
This is ten times better than joining [the coalition] as a spare tire."
