Moving: Cell phone addiction comes at your children's expense.
A video showing a person immersed in a smartphone, who, when his child tries to talk to him and "disturb" him with tales from the Talmud Torah[1], screams at him.
“Your Child is Waiting For You" is the name of a new viral clip, by the famous Chasidic motivational speaker Rabbi Yoel Roth of Williamsburg, New York.
On the Facebook page "Daily Encouragement Translated from Rabbi Yoel Roth", a video clip was uploaded this week, with English and Hebrew subtitles, which went viral on social media illustrating how cell phone addiction destroys ultra-Orthodox families and makes their children miserable.
The clip shows a person enjoying a game on his smartphone, and when his child tries to talk to him and "disrupt" with stories from his Talmud Torah, he yells at him to go to his mother.
"Your children cry every night, your son wants to talk to you, that you should ask him if all is well, but your head is somewhere else, immersed in a smart phone with no end in sight," Rabbi Roth sings, against the backdrop of sad, weeping images of children.
