News Digest: Regarding Chanukkah

"The increasing invasions of the Al-Aqsa Mosque are followed by calls by the Temple organizations for the Jewish Lights holiday [Chanukkah], which will be celebrated all week long and will end tomorrow.

Dozens of Israeli settlers took part in the invasion of the Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning and at the head of one of these groups was an Israeli prime minister.

Palestinian sources said that on Sunday morning the settlers renewed the morning incursions into the mosque accompanied by a large group of soldiers who stayed with them during their patrol.

The Islamic Endowments Administration said that among the invadors, numbering 109, was Minister of Agriculture Uri Ariel, the largest supporter of the invasions, who headed a group of invadors around 8 am.

The increasing incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque come after calls by the Temple organizations for the Jewish Hanukkah holiday that began last week and will end tomorrow. "
