"Mayoral candidate Yossi Deutsch voted at the Avigdori street polling station,
accompanied by his wife Shoshana. He said, 'in the name of God we will succeed’.
Fellow candidate Minister Zeev Elkin voted at the Brandt school polling station. In a statement, he said: 'Dear Jerusalem residents I have just exercised my democratic right and voted Zeev Elkin for mayor and our party 'Jerusalem Will Succeed'. I urge all of you to get out, vote, and influence the future of Jerusalem.'"
"Candidates Deutsch and Elkin kicked off election day by joining Shacharit morning prayers at the Kotel."

 Yossi Deutsch is a Haredi politician from the Haredi ‘sub-party’ “Shlomei Emunim” which is part of the national Haredi party “Agudat Yisrael”. The ‘sub-party’ was set up to run party representatives for local elections across the country. Deutsch ran for mayor in Jerusalem's municipality elections.
 Ze’ev Elkin is a Member of Knesset and the Minister for Jerusalem Affairs. He is a member of the Likud party. He ran for mayor in Jerusalem’s municipality elections.
