– Beit Hanina

– “We want this service to be available when traveling to Europe. Why is it only available when traveling to Jordan? We want to have this easy option wherever we go.”
– “This [service] sounds great."
– “Of course, they [the Israelis] make it easy for us [Palestinians] to leave so that we don’t come back to this country.”
– “I should get my residency card updated.”

Most Palestinians in East Jerusalem do not have Israeli citizenship, but rather have residency permits which allow them to live in Jerusalem. This residency is subject to temporary proof that Jerusalem is their center of life and main residence.
