Editor's Note:
[1] The Argentina team, the favorite in the World Cup, refused to play a friendly exhibition match in Jerusalem. Prior to the match players such as Lionel Messi were threatened by some pro-Palestinian activists. Head of the Argentina Soccer Association Claudio Tapia said, "It’s nothing against the Israeli community, it’s nothing against the Jewish community… [we hope] everyone will take this decision as a contribution to peace." Vice President of the Israeli Football Association said, "We are going to send an official complaint to FIFA and the disciplinary committee to take action.”

[3] A famous passage from Psalm 137, "If I forget thee, Jerusalem, let my right hand wither."
