"Q: Can someone who is fasting brush his teeth with water and toothpaste during the fast [1]?
A: Someone fasting can brush his teeth using water and toothpaste as long as none of it enters the stomach, because by letting anything enter, the fast is ruined. It is better for the one asking to do so outside of the hours of the fast so as to stay away from the tempting whispers and satanic dangers.
Glory to God, the Almighty."
