“Under enemy police protection, a Chinese delegation has infiltrated Al-Aqsa Mosque accompanied by rabbis and [Israeli] settlers.

A Chinese delegation has infiltrated the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque this Monday morning [May 29, 2018] accompanied by a group of rabbis and settlers under the armed protection of the Zionist enemy police.
According to sources in the Islamic Waqf of Jerusalem [1], dozens of Chinese tourists infiltrated the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and conducted a provocative tour of Al-Haram A-Shareef [2] in which rabbis provided descriptions of the so-called [Jewish] Temple. [3]
The incursion also included provocative tours of settlers in the corridors of the mosque and its squares, as well as explanations about the Temple and the alleged Jewish accounts.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to a series of violations by settlers, including incursions and provocations, on a daily basis excluding Fridays and Saturdays; all this comes under the protection of Occupation police.”

[1] The Jerusalem Islamic Waqf, essentially functions as the religious and civil administration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound. Following the 1967 war in which Israel took control of the Old City of Jerusalem, the Israeli government decided to maintain Jordanian custodianship of the Waqf. Today the Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound is governed and funded jointly by the Jordanian Waqf and the Waqf of the Palestinian Authority.
[2] Al-Haram A-Shareef is another name for the Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound meaning “the noble sanctuary.”
[3] Some Jewish groups advocate for the establishment of the Third Jewish Temple in the Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound, the same place in which the previous Jewish Temples stood. The area is known to Jews at the Temple Mount. This source of friction between the two groups has been the cause of much violence in recent years.
