[1] Municipal election across Israel are scheduled for the 30th October 2018.
[2] Traditionally, women in Haredi society do not run for public office or hold any official leadership position. Recently, there has been a growing, albeit still small, number of Haredim who wish to change this practice and allow women to run for political positions.
