[Translation of Video:]
“[Representative:]…This means by May 29th you have to leave. These documents are yours. Can I take a picture [proving the documents were served]?
[Palestinian lady:] Is this a court decision?
[Representative:] Yes this is a court decision…”

0202 Editor’s Notes:
[1] Ateret Cohanim is an Israeli Jewish non-profit organization with a yeshiva located in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. It works to rebuild the Jewish communities in and around the Old City, including in some predominantly Arab neighborhoods.
[2] Palestinian Resident Jawad Abu Sneineh and his family are the last remaining Palestinian residents in an apartment building now owned by Ateret Cohanim in the town of Silwan.
[2] Silwan is a predominantly Palestinian neighborhood on the outskirts of the Old City of Jerusalem. In 1991, a movement was formed to promote Jewish settlement in Silwan and today there are a few hundred Jewish families living in the area amid approximately 55,000 Palestinians. Consequently, the town remains a flash point in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict
