"Everyone comes, builds buildings which brings along construction debris, remains and rubbish in the middle of the street. It's the fear of God to see children walking to school when they don't have a place to walk. These images are from Ras Al-Khamis Street, near the border crossing. I'd tell the owner of the building if he doesn't clean the garbage we'll complain to the municipality and let them destroy the street. This street is not yours or anyone else's. It's a public street and belongs to all. Comment what you think."
– State of Shuafat Refugee Camp [1]
[Selected Comments:]
– "Oh wow yeah, that's the only way, go to the municipality!"
– "That's it, establish a police force and pay them salaries. The kids should be smart and responsible in the camp. This is a narrow street and many people live here, they should each pay 50 shekels to protect public property."
– "The vegetable vendor's van is parked next to them because it's crowded on the street. Dear God, we're with you, they're destroying public property. They must be punished so they or others learn."

0202 Editor's Note:
[1] Shuafat Refugee Camp is a Palestinian refugee camp within the Jerusalem jurisdiction located next to Shuafat, a Palestinian Arab neighborhood of East Jerusalem. The camp is located outside the separation wall, but technically, the Shuafat refugee camp falls under the jurisdiction of the Jerusalem municipality. It is thus the only Palestinian refugee camp located in Jerusalem.
