"The star of the Peleg [1] demonstrations will be spending the seder night behind bars

The star of the Peleg demonstrations, Aharon Biella, was sentenced to 20 days in prison after being brought before disciplinary commander, Yossi Matzliach.

Biała, who became a saocial media star because of his active participation in demonstrations and videos, became active in order to obtain Israeli citizenship alongside his American citizenship, so that he would be considered a deserter and would be able to "sanctify God's name".
Aharon Beyala was detained at Ben-Gurion International Airport on his way to his parents home in the United States by border police officers and was arrested by the Military Police, as reported by Behadrei Haredim.

He belongs to the Peleg Hayerushalmi, and is an active participant in the demonstrations. He is considered a draft dodger, with his first draft notice having been issued at the end of 2017.

The IDF Spokesperson's Office said that Biala had evaded them for five months. 'Since he refused to cooperate with the IDF, he was sentenced to 20 days in prison for evading the draft today.' Military sources told Behadri that Biala submitted a request to decrease the time spent in jail.
