"A Train With A Wig: The Picture That's Driving Jerusalemites Crazy

The CityPass company uploaded a picture of a train wearing a brown wig on social media. The response from Jerusalemites didn't take long.

'Do I look pretty with my hair blown out?' CityPass, the light rail operator, posted on Thursday on Facebook and Instagram. The photo is a photoshopped image of the Light Rail wearing a Haredi woman's wig and the post reads, 'What do you say? Does it look nice blown out?'

The responses didn't take long. 'No, it'd be prettier for you to not to give out fines,' wrote one poster. 'CityPass has lost it,' wrote another. 'They're busying themselves with putting up idiotic posts instead of fixing their services or their inspectors,' wrote yet another.

Other people honestly thought it was funny and wrote: 'Shikseh! [1] this is Jerusalem!' and, 'Disgusting, I'd rather bald.'

This isn't the first time that CityPass has made use of ironic posts. A week ago, they wrote on their Facebook page, 'Draw me in oil paints even though I'm on a diet 😞".

CityPass: 'Our page is one of the strongest in Jerusalem and we're proud of it. We obviously won't reveal all of our secrets as to how we became such a popular page but we will point out that it's tied to the hard work of posting diverse and interesting content – some of which is giving out information, some is interesting, some is serious, and some are of course, funny."
