"Haredi Women [Participate] in Fashion Week
This week was fashion week in Tel Aviv, and for once, Haredi women were not left out. Linor Abargil [1] appeared on the stage wearing a shiny dress and a head covering made out of the same material. Who ever said head coverings are only for religious women? They have appeared in fashion shows all over the world, from kerchiefs to turbans, and are suitable for the Haredi lifestyle. 'What's good enough for the world, is pretty and modest, is good for us too,' says Haredi fashionista Rivka Aharon. 'Haredi fashion is in a great place today. It's interesting, respectful, and full of style. Unfortunately, society is often judgmental. Now is the time to make a change and announce a shift in our society!'
