"Today marks the anniversary of Samr Sami Al-Kasbeh's martyrdom, the brother of martyrs, Yasser and Muhammad.

Samr did not know that 14 years later, the people in our camp would be rejoicing in such a way,

Samr is the brown, wide-eyed boy, who after over a decade following the martyrdom of his brother Yasser, who rose [to heaven] 40 days before him, and Muhammad, who arose on a Ramadan Friday 13 years ago.

The three brothers, Samr, Yasser, and Muhammed Sami Al-Kasbeh, could not have anticipated that their home would become a place known by the nation. The very thought that the three brothers are no longer on this earth, makes our commitment to their cause that much stronger…'"
