The traitor Theophilos III, Patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Church, seller of Walaja [2] lands, the Haniya [a spring near the Walaja village, pictured in the comments], and Church properties to the Occupation state, arrived at Bethlehem amid public indignation of the patriarch. He was received with garbage and jeers of ‘collaborator,’ ‘traitor,’ ‘thief,’ ‘freedom for the church,’ and ‘get out, patriach!’

The people of Walaja must petition the [Palestinian Authority] attorney general Dr. Ahmad Barrak to issue a warrant for the patriarch's arrest while he is currently located in Bethlehem. A proper investigation should be conducted into suspicions of corruption and leaking endowment lands to the Zionist Occupation State. Our Orthodox Christian brothers must demand his dismissal and the appointment of an eastern Arab instead\."

[1] Patriarch Theophilos III has been harshly criticized in the Arab community for selling church lands to Israelis. The possibility of indictment under Palestinian Authority law is due to a law banning the sale of land to Jews.
[2] The village of Walaja is located several kilometers from Bethlehem.
